What is St. Jude on the Bay?

Thank you for your interest in helping children with life threatening illnesses which are treated through St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital. More than 45 children from our area, alone, are being cared for at St. Jude. No one has ever been turned away due to their inability to pay. Fund raising events such as St. Jude on the Bay, and many others cover much of the expense to care for these children.

St. Jude Hospital was founded by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas over 39 years ago. Since then, literally thousands of children from the U.S.A. and abroad have found hope, and life through the didicated staff of this world renowned care giving center. Our local hospitals send more than 2,500 blood samples each year to St. Jude for their opinion.

When you help St. Jude Hospital, you are helping your own community, and your own children, by supporting an institution dedicated to finding cures for many life threatening illnesses.

Since our inaugural event through our 5th year of existence, St. Jude on the Bay has sent checks to the hospital totaling over $700,000!
